Jeff points out in his “Turns out disasters aren’t especially funny” post that a well known celeb picking up your cause to help out with fundraising efforts can be a phenominal gesture especialy in terms of exposure, BUT… as Jeff says:
“Celebrities, well-done YouTube videos, text-to-give, Twitter, Facebook … those are all fine. They can help you raise money. But you need to start with the philanthropic principle: You can change the world!”
