There are many ways to “green” your mail efforts.

Check out these tips adapted from the United States Postal Service website and visit https://mail1.studentlist.com/175502/488383for more information.

  • Limit duplication and waste by updating and improving your mailing list on a regular basis
Precisely target customers to avoid mailing irrelevant offers
  • Allow customers to opt-out of mailings
  • Create mailing pieces from recycled materials
  • Source paper from forests managed with practices certified by organizations such as the Sustainable Forest Initiative (https://mail1.studentlist.com/175513/488383) and the Forest Stewardship Council (https://www.fsc.org/)
  • Make your mailing pieces recyclable – print with water-based ink, on uncoated stock and use both sides of the paper to save resources
  • Encourage customers to recycle your mail piece after reading it
