Mistakes, everyone makes them.No, that’s not the old saying, keep reading.
The typical reaction I see when someone makes a mistake is to deflect the blame onto someone else or to get defensive towards the person pointing out the error.
If you have really made a mistake and have wronged a co-worker or client, the smart thing to do is to accept that you made a mistake (trust me you are not alone, I don’t know anyone who has never ever made a mistake) and learn from that mistake.
It shows tons of character to be able to live up to a mistake and say “I’m sorry I was wrong, what can I do to fix this?”
