Should Jews Give Money to Jewish Organizations that Support Non-Jewish Causes

It’s an interesting question.

Read this facinating article about the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, better know as HIAS that recently appeared inThe New York Jewish Week.
Over the years, HIAS’s mission has changed. Should HIAS continue to fundraise in the Jewish community or shift its fundraisng to non-Jews?
Should they change their name to more clearly reflect their current mission?
Or is this a case of good old Jewish Tikkun Olam and we should all pitch in?
We would love to hear your comments.
David
