On September 13 during a JINSA Executive Committee meeting, Tom Neumann announced that he would like to step down as Executive Director of JINSA in the coming months but will continue to work for JINSA work out of Houston in a new capacity.
Twenty years ago Tom came to JINSA at a time when it was struggling and his vision and leadership helped transform it into what it is today:  a vibrant, effective national organization. JINSA has grown under his leadership and we are grateful for Tom’s willingness to continue sharing his vast intellect and expertise with JINSA as we move into the future.  Tom will continue developing JINSA’s support base in Houston, as well as expanding our outreach and developing leadership and programs for JINSA in various communities in Texas and beyond.
As President of JINSA, David Ganz appointed a search committee to identify the next Executive Director.  The Committee has held several meetings and began accepting applications from candidates.
We are reaching out to you because you most closely follow JINSA’s work.  If you have any suggestions for candidates for the position of Executive Director, we encourage you to contact us directly. We will be promoting the position through various means, but a personal knowledge of a potential candidate is always valued.
