It’s very difficult to imagine living in a city that’s a target for rockets and missiles even for some Israelis. Try to imagine right now that a city just 26 miles from you is firing live rockets at you.
My friends ask me: how can you even  live in a city that is being targeted by rockets?
My answer is that Israel is my home! Israel has been and will always be the home of the Jewish people! I will not leave, even if my enemies try to encourage my removal by force!

Why the mission is critical:
In December of 2008 to January of 2009 and again in November of 2012 hundreds of rockets were being fired at the city Beersheva and at the entire South of Israel by the terrorist group Hamas in Gaza.
We need to make sure that if and when the rockets fall on us again, that everyone has a place to find shelter.Â
There is no fully effective political or military solution in site to prevent these sort of attacks from happening again and Gaza is just 26 miles (42km) away from Beersheva!
