NEW YORK (JTA) —
“The Foundation for Jewish Camp has tapped businessman Jeremy Fingerman as its new chief executive officer.
Fingerman, most recently the founder and managing principal of the consulting and investment advisory firm Clairmont Ventures, will be formally introduced at the foundation’s Leaders Assembly March 14-15 in Jersey City, N.J.
He succeeds Jerry Silverman, who left the foundation last summer to become the CEO of the Jewish Federations of North America.
The camp foundation, which has an annual budget of more than $22 million, raises awareness of and support for nonprofit Jewish summer camps, highlighting their strong track record for building Jewish commitment in young Jews.

Fingerman, who has a master’s degree in business from Harvard University, served as the president of the Campbell Soup Company’s U.S. Soup Division, as well as the president and CEO of RAB Food group, which became known as The Manischewitz Company in 2008.
